Our Approach
8Cs of Learning
We follow our own framework of "8Cs of Learning". Framework of '5Cs of Learning' that includes Creativity, Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration & Community is a commonly adopted framework by educational institutions. We believe that along with these 5Cs, the 3Cs of building Competence, Character & Computational Skills are also very important.
Creativity
Critical Thinking
Children need to be able to create something original or create something in a new way by utilising the knowledge and skills that they have already acquired. Children need to be able to think out of the box to find solutions for real life problems.
Critical thinking is the process of comprehending knowledge, assessing & analysing data, information and media to synthesize it in a form that results in value add. It helps in logical reasoning, process writing and problem solving in a methodical manner.
Computational Skills
With big data, machine learning & artificial intelligence technologies coming up, it is very important for children to develop quantitative aptitude and Computational ability. It helps children think with data, calculate and solve analytical problems. The iterative process learnt through mathematics is useful for coding and software skills.
Communication
Communication is the process of conveying your ideas in a clear, concise, articulated and meaningful way through spoken or written words. It is the expression of one's thoughts with peers and in any group to have meaningful conversations or to express one's views in a public setting.
Collaboration
Collaboration helps the child to maximise knowledge and outcome by working with peers thereby exploring different personalities & talents. It helps build on others' ideas by working together and inculcates learning through sharing, discussions, team work & cooperation.
Competence
Building Competence & skill development requires diligent execution and implementation of ideas based on acquired knowledge. Consistent practice enhances
learning even further. It helps nurture child's aptitude and talent to acquire expertise and build excellence.
Character
Community
Inculcating moral values to build Character is essential at a young age, so that children can learn effectively. Discipline, mannerism, punctuality, respect for others and empathy are key personality traits that define an individual and everything they do and decisions they take.
Community implies being aware of your surroundings & consciousness. It can mean relationships, social connections & networks. It is the realisation of being a part of the society as a citizen and sense of belonging and purpose towards the culture.
Each of the modules in our courses help children develop proficiency across these core skills. Some modules may have more focus on certain skills depending on the activities involved, e.g.

"Comic Strip" creation module as part of "Creative Writing" course may focus more on "Creativity", vs

"Comprehensions" module from "Creative Writing" & "Parts of Speech" module of "English Grammar" may focus more on "Communication" and

"Numbers" module from "Mathematics Concepts" may focus more on "Computational Ability"
